Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited is inviting applications from eligible candidates for 466 posts of Trade Apprentices. The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training in different trades under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1962. (Group-A)Qualification for posts- Draftsman (Mechanical), Electrician ,Fitter , Structural Fitter,	The candidate should have Passed SSC in with General Science & Mathematics i) Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC / EWS / DIVYANG/ AFC, ii) Pass Class for SC/ST Only. iii) In case of passing criteria is best of 5 subjects taken , iii)General Science & Mathematics Should be the Part of the Qualifying Board Curriculum & Candidate should have passed, Otherwise Application will be rejected. iv) Though the qualifying criteria is SSC, the candidates with Higher qualification may also apply. However, eligibility will be based on SSC marks qualification only.
(Group-A)Qualification for post- Pipe Fitter	The candidate should have Passed SSC i) Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC /EWS / DIVYANG,/ AFC , ii) Pass Class for SC/ST Only. iii) Though the qualifying criteria is SSC, the candidates with Higher qualification may also apply. However, eligibility will be based on SSC marks qualification only.
(Group-B)Qualification for posts-Structural Fitter (Ex. ITI Fitter),Electrician,ICTSM, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (RAC), Electronic Mechanic, Pipe Fitter,Welder,Computer Operator & Programming Assistant,Carpenter	Passed ITI in Fitter / Electrician /ICTSM / Electronic Mechanic/ Plumber / Welder / Computer Operator & Programming Assistant / Carpenter / Refrigeration and Airconditioning (RAC) trades from Govt./ Govt recognized Institute. i) Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC / EWS / DIVYANG / AFC, ii) Only Pass Class for SC/ST. Applicants undergoing their course under semester system are required to pass backlog papers of previous semesters if any & it should be dully certified by Head of the institute. Applicant should have passed ITI in above trades only, however in case of FitterStructural trade, applicants belonging to ITI Fitter Trade can apply. *Applications of applicants appearing in the final exam will not be considered.
(Group-C)Qualification for posts-Rigger, Welder (Gas & Electric)	8th Std. under (10 + 2) system Passed with Science & Mathematics. i) Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC / EWS / DIVYANG / AFC, ii) Pass Class for SC/ST Only. Though the qualifying criterion is 8th Std, the candidates with Higher qualification may also apply. However, eligibility will be based on 8th Std. qualification only.

Fees	Applicants from General (UR), OBC, EWS & AFC Category will be required to pay Rs. 100/- + Bank charges (non-refundable) as applicable, as application processing fees. SC, ST & Divyang Category candidates are exempted from payment of fees, however they have to upload valid caste and disability certificate (whichever is applicable), and otherwise application will not be accepted.
