About_Indian Navy Recruitment_INCET 2023

Indian Navy is inviting for posts of chargeman and senior draughtsman and trade mate in different commands of Indian Navy.

Chargeman Is responsible to his immediate superior for the discipline of the employees under his control and for the safe , correct, expeditious performance of all work done under his jurisdiction.

Senior Draughtsman is responsible for preparation if drawings pertaining to shop structures /plan/ elevation & frame required to be used for layout drawings using related software, collection of technical data for reproduction enhancement.

Tradesman Mate is responsible for working in production/ maintenance/ ship/ submarine etc. They can also be assigned to daily jobs for upkeeping cleanliness and other works.

Pay Details_Indian Navy Recruitment_INCET 2023

The Chargeman & Senior Draughtsman will be paid as per level 6 of 7th CPC (35400 to 112400) for Tradesman Mate payment will be as per level 1 of 7th CPC (18000 to 56900).

Qualification_Indian Navy Recruitment_INCET 2023

Qualification will be as follows:

(A) Chargeman- Bachelor of Science degree in Physics Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institution

A Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized University or Board

(B) Senior Draughtsman- Bachelor of Science degree in Physics Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institution

Matriculation Pass or its equivalent from a recognized Institution or Board.

Two years Diploma or Certificate in Draughtsmanship from an Industrial Training Institute or equivalent recognized Institution.

Three years of experience from a drawing or design office in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

(C) Tradesman Mate – Matriculation Pass with ITI in relevant Trade

All candidates except (SC/ST/Women/Ex-Servicemen/PwBDs) have to pay a non refundable payment of Rs. 295/- excluding applicable charges through online mode only.

Scheme of Exam_Indian Navy Recruitment_INCET 2023

Selection of the will be done in two stages.

(A) Screening applications:-

This stage is only for entitlement of a person/ applicant to be called for the online test.

(B) Online Computer Based Exam

Shortlisted candidates should attend the exam containing

(i) General Intelligence- 25 Questions/Marks

(ii) General Awareness – 25 Questions/Marks

(iii) Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Questions/Marks

(iv) English Language – 25 Questions/Marks

Total time will be given as 90 minutes.

(C) Provisional Appointment Letter:-

Provisionally selected candidates based on the merit list will be sent to document verification, medical examination etc. before given provisional appointment letters.

Age Limit_Indian Navy Recruitment_INCET 2023

Allowable age limits are as follows:

(a) Chargeman — Between 18- 25 years

(b) Senior Draughtsman – Between 18-27 years

Age is relaxed for SC/ST by 05 years, OBC by 03 Years, PwBDs by 10 years (UR) / 15 years (SC/ST)/ 13 years (OBC), ESM by 03 years, Meritorious sportsperson upto 05 years (Gen/OBC)/ upto 10 years (SC/ST)
