 The Office of Dean, Administration is looking for suitable Indian nationals including Persons of Indian Origins (PIOs) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCis) for appointment on the following temporary positions for short-term R&D Projects on contractual basis for a period of maximum five years. 

Pay Details_IIT Kanpur Recruitment_Sarkari Job 2023

Total Salary per month for different posts are as follows:

(A) Senior REO –  Rs. 1,52,000/- per month (approx.)
(B) REO (Grade I) – Rs. 1,32,000/- per month (approx.)
(C) REO (Grade II) – Rs. 1,11 ,000/ – per month (approx.)
 Plus Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance (T A) as admissible to the central government employees and as made applicable to the Institute.

• Knowledge in High Performance Computing (HPC) systems, and experience in maintenance of HPC systems • Previous experience in interacting with HPC users on day-to-day basis • Experience in assisting HPC research in an academic/ research institute • Experience in the upgradation of HPC hardware and software • Good communication skills
Research Establishment Officer (Grade II) /Office of Dean, Digital Infrastructure and Automation
Master of Law (L.L.M) with at least 60% marks from a University /College recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Relevant experience in business laws including formulating of agreement and negotiations. • Work experience in IR, international laws pertaining to design and Inventions. • Master 1 S degree with specialization in Business Law. • Work experience in R&D labs, industries and academia in the above field will be preferred.

The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. The duly constituted Screening Committee may adopt its own criteria for shortlisting the candidates. The candidate should therefore, mention in the application all the qualifications and experiences in the relevant area over and above the minimum prescribed qualification, supported with self- certified documents. Completion of Ph.D. degree will be reckoned from the date of issue of provisional certificate/ notification.

(A) Senior REO –  48 years i.e. born on or after date 20.12.1975
(B) REO (Grade I) – 45 years i.e. born on or after date 20.12.1978
