1) ITI Trade Apprentices- (a)Pass in Xth standard (b) Pass in ITI (National Trade

Certificate – NTC) in any one of the trades mentioned in the detailed notification. (official notification link below)
2) Pass in Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) in the concerned

discipline mentioned in the detailed notification. (official notification link below)

Physical Standards- As prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rules 1992, and the amendments thereof, if any.

Domicile – The applicant shall be a domicile in Kerala.

Stipend_Cochin Shipyard Limited_Recruitment(2023

Stipend per month for ITI Trade Apprentices would be INR 8000/- and stipend per month for Technician (Vocational) Apprentices would be INR 9000/-for a period of one year.

Selection Process_Cochin Shipyard Limited_Recruitment(2023

A. Short-listing of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trades. In case, same percentage of marks is secured by more than one candidate in prescribed qualification, relative merit shall be decided based on seniority in age.

B. Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated through the registered email Id and will have to appear for verification.

Duration of Training_Cochin Shipyard Limited_Recruitment(2023

The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period

of one year as per Apprentices Act, 1961. Those who have undergone apprenticeship training in any other organization for any duration under the Apprentices Act, 1961 are not eligible to apply.

1) The application consists of two phases – One time Registration in the SAP E-recruitment portal of CSL and Submission of application against the Trade/Vocation applicable. Applicants should not submit more than one application. Application once submitted shall be final.

(ii) Applicants should ensure that all certificates towards proof of age, educational qualification, caste, disability etc and a recent passport size colour photograph are uploaded in the SAP online application portal.

(iii) After applying through online, applicants should retain a soft copy/ printout

of the online application containing the unique registration number generated

by the system for their reference.
