Qualification_SBI PO_IBPS_IBPS PO (2023)

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2023. Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2023. Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant etc. would also be eligible.

Selection Procedure_SBI PO_IBPS_IBPS PO (2023)

The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three-Phase process:

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination: Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 (three) Sections (with separate timings for each section)

English Language- 30 Marks- 20 minutes
Quantitative Aptitude- 35 Marks-20 minutes
Reasoning Ability- 35 Marks-20 minutes

Phase-II: Main Examination: Main Examination will be conducted online and will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.

Objective Test: The duration of objective test is 3 hours, and it consists of 4 Sections of total 200 marks.
There will be separate timing for every section – Reasoning & Computer Aptitude (40 Questions -50 Marks), Data Analysis & Interpretation (30 Questions -50 Marks), General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness (50 Questions-60 Marks), English Language (35 Questions-40 Marks)
Descriptive Paper– English Language (Letter Writing & Essay)- 2 Questions -50 Marks

Application Fee will be as follows-

750/- for General/ EWS/ OBC candidates
‘Nil’ for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.

Remuneration_SBI PO_IBPS_IBPS PO (2023)

Presently, the starting basic pay is 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributed Pension Fund i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, Lease rental facility etc. and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time

Joining & Training_SBI PO_IBPS_IBPS PO (2023)

The selected candidates shall be provided basic banking knowledge through online course, which they shall
complete before joining. The selected candidates, at the time of joining, will have to execute a Bond for a value of 2.00 Lacs ( INR Two Lacs only) to serve the Bank for a minimum period of three years. The Bond will be invoked by the Bank if the candidate resigns from the service of the Bank before expiry of three years from the date of joining. On joining, the selected candidates will be designated as “Probationary Officers” and may be on probation for two years. They will be subjected to continuous assessment, as per Bank’s extant policy, during the probation period. Those candidates who qualify in the assessment as per standards determined by the Bank from time to time, will be confirmed in the Service of the Bank in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I).If any candidate fails to achieve minimum standards stipulated, his/ her services may be terminated as per policy of the Bank in force at the material time. Pre-requisites for Applying Online: Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no. which should be kept active till the declaration of results. Age Limit_SBI PO_IBPS_IBPS PO (2023)

Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2023 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2002 and not earlier than 02.04.1993 (both days inclusive). Relaxation in Upper age limit as per official notification.
