For the post of Constable, initial basic salary will be 21,700/- to 69,100/-
For the post of Sub Inspector, initial basic salary will be 35,400/- to 1,12,400/-

Constable (Exe)	Minimum 18 years to Maximum 25 years

Age is to be counted as on 1st July of the year if official notification issued between January to June.

Age is to be counted as on 1st January of next year if official notification issued between July to December.

Age relaxation for SC/ST- 05 Years, OBC- 03 Years.

Candidates domiciled in UT of Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh during the period 1/1/1980 to 31/12/1989, age relaxation will be for UR/EWS- 5 years, OBC 8 years, SC/ST- 10 years.

For the post of Sub Inspector, for Central Govt. employees age relaxed for UR/EWS- 5 years, OBC 8 years, SC/ST- 10 years.

For divorced women and women judicially separated from husband but not remarried- age relaxed for UR/EWS- 2 years, OBC 5 years, SC/ST- 7 years.

For Ex Serviceman age relaxed for UR/EWS- 3 years, OBC 6 years, SC/ST- 8 years.
