Qualification_Central Railway Recruitment_ 2023
(1) For recruitment in Level –5/4: Minimum Graduation in any faculty from a recognized University.
(2)For recruitment in Level –5/4: Passed 12th (+2 stage) OR its Equivalent Examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate from recognized Board. OR Passed Matriculation from recognized Board plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship. OR Passed Matriculation from recognized Board plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.
(3) For recruitment in Level –5/4: 10th Pass from recognized Board
OR ITI OR Equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
Age limit_Central Railway Recruitment_ 2023
Minimum age is 18 and maximum age is 25 as of January 1, 2024. Only those who were born between January 1st, 1999, and January 1st, 2006 (both dates inclusive), should apply. Candidates born before December 31, 1998, are ineligible. Candidates born on or after February 1, 2006 are likewise ineligible. There will be no age exceptions for any community of candidates.
Emoluments on initial appointment will be minimum pay of the level of pay plus other allowances as admissible at that time. During training period only stipend will be paid as applicable. Candidates may have to give security deposit and execute indemnity bond, wherever necessary
(a)For pay level 1: Basic pay rate would be monthly INR 18000/-
(b)For pay level 2: Basic pay rate would be monthly INR 19900/-
(C)For pay level 3: Basic pay rate would be monthly INR 21700/-
(a)For pay level 4: Basic pay rate would be monthly INR 25500/-
(a)For pay level 5: Basic pay rate would be monthly INR 29200/-
(A)For all candidates – Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five Hundred Only), with a provision of
refunding Rs 400/- (Rs Four Hundred Only) to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Trial. After deducting bank charges
(B) For candidates belonging to SC/ST/ExServicemen/Persons with Disability/
Women/Minorities and Economic Backward Class – Rs. 250/- (Rs. Two Hundred Fifty Only) with a provision of refunding the same to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Trial. After deducting bank charges
All eligible candidates will be called for trial and after trial, only the FIT candidates (securing 25 or more, out of 40 marks for Game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observations during trial) shall be assessed for next stage of recruitment. Candidates declared NOT FIT by the Trial Committee, will not be assessed further by the Recruitment Committee.
Distribution of marks shall be as under-
(i)For assessment of recognized sports achievements as per norms- 50 marks
(ii)For game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observation during trials- 40 Marks
(iii)Educational Qualification- 10 Marks
