North Eastern Railway is in process for recruiting 1104 posts of Act Apprentices. Selected candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training in different trades for One year in different Units of North Eastern Railway (NER) . Recruitment rule under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1962 . Age Limit (As on 02.08.2023)	The candidates must not be less than 15 years of age and not more than 24 years of age as on 02.08.2023.
Application Fee	Candidates must pay Rs.100/- as Application Fee. No fees for SC/ST/EWS/ Divyang(PwBD)/Women candidates
Physical Standard	Selected candidates must submit Medical Certificate in prescribed format issued by authorized Medical Officer. Eligibility of Divyang as per Railway Boards guidelines.

Starting Date of Online Application	10.00 hrs on 03.07.2023
Closing Date of Online Application	17.00 hrs on 02.08.2023
Mode Of Selection	Merit list taking the average of the % of marks obtained in both Matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both. Candidate may opt for more than one unit/place. Document Verification at Gorakhpur.
Training	The candidates’ training will be arranged according to the standards and syllabus prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council subject to registration with RDAT/Kanpur.
Payment During Apprenticeship	The selected candidates will be paid stipend during Apprenticeship at the prescribed rates as per extant rules/Instructions.
Documents Required	Document Verification at Gorakhpur and selected candidates have to bring a copy of online application, Medical Certificate in prescribed format, 04 passport sized photograph, all their original certificates & testimonials for verification purpose.
