An Indian public sector organisation called National Aluminium Company Limited operates integrated and diverse operations in the metal, mining, and power sectors. As of right now, the Ministry of Mines oversees NALCO administratively, while the Government of India owns 51.28% of the company’s equity.
The initial pay after appointment will be the pay scale of Rs. 40000 – 3% – 140000/- during one year of training. After successful absorbtion as Assistant Manager at E1, they will be paid as per the pay scale of Rs. 60000- 3%-180000/- with one additional increment.
Other amenities will also be applicable as per extant rule.
Full-time, normal Bachelor of Science or Technology degree with at least 65% overall marks for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% overall marks for SC/ST/PwBD category, taking the average of all semesters/years into account, regardless of the weighting assigned to any specific semester/year by the University/Institute.
The minimum requirements for the Chemistry discipline are an M.Sc. (Chemistry) or an AIC with at least 65% of total marks for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% of total marks for SC/ST/PwBD category, taking the average of all semesters/years, regardless of the weighting assigned by the institution / University to any particular semester/year.

For the purpose of hiring Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) in the aforementioned fields, NALCO shall use the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering—2023 marks (GATE-2023 marks). To apply for any of the aforementioned disciplines, a candidate must have passed the GATE 2023 exam. The only valid marks for this recruitment process are GATE-2023. The candidates who meet the organisational requirements and the GATE-2023 marks will be shortlisted for in-person interviews.
Applicants who meet the qualifying marks in GATE 2023 will be summoned for an interview in a 1:10 ratio, based on their discipline and category. Regardless of the aforementioned ratio, all candidates who receive the same marks in the same discipline and category will be invited for an interview if this ultimately leads to a 1:10 ratio rise.
The candidates will be chosen in the end based on their performance in the personal interview and the GATE 2023 scores they received. GATE scores and personal interviews have weights of 90% and 10%, respectively.
The maximum age is thirty as of February 4, 2024.
