Qualification & Eligibility _CDS Exam 2023_Sarkari Job
Essential eligibility criteria are as follows:
(1) A candidate must be unmarried
(2) A Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal
(3) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
(4) A. For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai — Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
B. For Indian Naval Academy— Degree in Engineering from a recognised
University/Institution
C. For Air Force Academy—Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Note: Candidates enrolled in the final year/semester of their Degree course are eligible to apply, even if they haven’t received their final exam results yet. However, applicants must not have any outstanding backlogs up to the last semester/year for which results have been declared at the time of application submission.
Scheme of Exam_CDS Exam 2023_Sarkari Job
All candidates will be selected as per following scheme
(a) Written examination as shown as below.
(b) Interview for intelligence and personality test (vide Part ‘B’ of this Appendix) of such candidates as may be called for interview at one of the Services Selection Centres.
For each course offered, the weight given to the written examination and the interview is identical. Admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Officers’ Training Academy requires candidates to score a maximum of 300, 300, 300, and 200 marks respectively in both the written exam and interview combined.

Permissible age limits are as below:-
➢ For IMA—Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 2001 and not later than 1st January, 2006 only are eligible.
➢ For Indian Naval Academy—Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 2001 and not later than 1st January, 2006 only are eligible.
➢ For Air Force Academy— 20 to 24 years as on 1st January, 2025 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January, 2001 and not later than 1st January, 2005
